Job Summary

The Administrative Coordinator for Faculty provides a wide range of clerical and administrative support for approximately 15 full time and 15 adjunct faculty members at the Kline School of Law.  This position will also support two academic centers and the MLS & LLM programs.

Essential Functions

  • Provide receptionist, secretarial and administrative support relating to daily operational tasks.
  • Coordinating and maintaining daily schedules/calendars for law professors.
  • Making conference travel arrangements and registrations, purchases and reimbursements for faculty members.
  • Answer phones and in-person inquiries.
  • Handle correspondence as well as internal and external mail.
  • Manage and organize files and records for law professors.
  • Collecting and compiling data as needed.
  • Provide administrative support for the Center for Law and Transformational Technology, Center for Law, Policy and Social Action, and the Kline Institute of Trial Advocacy (Center).
  • Provide administrative support for the MLS & LLM programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or Equivalent or two (2) years of college credits
  • Two (2) years of prior relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, Power-Point, Outlook familiarity with Banner and Hyperion.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal, organization, and analytical skills required.
  • Ability to work proactively rather than reactively.
  • Knowledge of office management principles and procedures
  • Demonstrable typing (60 w.p.m.)
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
