Job Summary

The Program Manager for the Drexel NIH funded FIRST program (“ Catalyzing Systemic Change at Drexel University to Support Diverse Faculty in Health Disparities Research) will oversee and coordinate the compilation and reporting of a variety of data collected by the program for evaluation purposes including tracking and monitoring of all activities implemented by the Drexel FIRST program including meetings, surveys, interviews and focus groups among other sources. They will also regularly compile and process data that needs to be submitted to the FIRST Coordinating Center using appropriate data entry systems including faculty data , survey data and other data for the faculty, hiring units and university. The Program Manager will also generate reports as needed, support IRB approval and renewals, update the website, and support the PI on other miscellaneous coordination tasks.

Essential Functions

  • Obtain, compile, process , and track quantitative and qualitative data collected by the program for evaluation purposes
  • Regularly submit required data to the FIRST Coordinating Center using redcap or other data systems as required
  • Maintain and update IRB approvals and track consent forms as needed
  • Develop reports, summaries and slides for presentations, progress reports or the University as needed
  • Maintain the FIRST website, create and distribute a regular newsletter, and support special events 
  • Assist the PIs with other miscellaneous coordination activities as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Masters Degree or Equivalent
  • 3 years of experience managing complex projects.
  • Experience processing and summarizing qualitative and quantitative data and creating reports and summaries from data
    Very detail oriented, extremely organized, and comfortable with multitasking.
  • Team oriented and experienced working with diverse groups.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, advanced excel and powerpoint skills
  • Experience with project management software such as Smartsheet or other.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Wordpress and Mailchimp desirable
