Suspension of Drexel University's Contribution into 403(b) Retirement Plan

As communicated on Oct. 10, Drexel University is suspending its contributions to employee retirement plans for calendar year 2025 as part of its multi-year plan to build financial resilience. Drexel is continuing to monitor the situation and will share updates as they become available for calendar year 2026.

Job Summary

Drexel University’s Kline School of Law is seeking a multimedia producer to join its award-winning creative team. The role requires a versatile visual storyteller who can communicate the impact of academic and co-curricular experiences on student development as well as capture key moments of high-profile academic and community events. The ideal candidate has an interest in law, education and social issues and is skilled at photography, video production, audio production, digital asset management and project management.

This is a per diem position, with some travel and evenings required. The multimedia producer reports to Drexel Kline Law’s Director of Communications and Digital Strategy.

Essential Functions

  • Produce documentary-style video content to support narrative storytelling about the law school, in consultation with the marketing and communications team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues at the law school, Drexel University and agencies on communications projects and digital initiatives.
  • Organize photos, b-roll and interview clips in an online repository or digital asset management system, and also back up media files on an external hard-drive provided by the law school.
  • Distribute and collect photo and video release forms as needed. 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Outstanding photography, videography, and digital editing skills.
  • Adept at lighting and audio production.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Office 365 and social media platforms.
  • Experience implementing a digital asset management system or organizing multimedia files.
  • Comfort interviewing and working with people at all levels of an organization.

Additional Information
This is a Part-Time Per Diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
