Job Summary

This position supports the Office of Community Health and Inclusive Excellence by overseeing the daily operations and programming of the Dornsife Center Community Wellness HUB. This role manages coordinator team functions, including community access to services, patient triage, scheduling, intake processing, documentation, and coordination of clinical service schedules. The Program Manager also oversees communication, invoice and report management, data monitoring, and provider calendars.
In addition, the Program Manager serves as a central connector between the HUB, Drexel University’s College of Nursing and Health Professions (CNHP), Drexel College of Medicine (DUCOM), and academic programs. The position is responsible for developing, supporting, coordinating, and implementing health and wellness programming in collaboration with faculty, staff, students, and community partners to ensure services are responsive, impactful, and aligned with the HUB’s mission to advance health equity.

Essential Functions

  • Program Coordination & Implementation 
    • Plan, organize, and coordinate HUB programming in collaboration with CNHP and DUCOM academic programs, community partners, and other Drexel stakeholders. 
    • Ensure programs are responsive to community health and wellness needs.
    • Support logistics for health screenings, educational events, workshops, and community outreach activities. 
  • Community Engagement
    • Actively engage with community members to understand priorities, concerns, and opportunities for partnership.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with local organizations, residents, and other stakeholders to strengthen HUB programming and impact.
  • Data & Outcomes Monitoring
    • Collect, track, and report data related to program participation, outcomes, and community impact.
    • Use metrics to assess effectiveness of programs and inform future planning.
    • Prepare regular reports and updates for HUB leadership and partners.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Serve as liaison between the HUB and CNHP and DUCOM academic programs, supporting experiential learning opportunities for students.
    • Coordinate faculty and student involvement in community-based initiatives.
    • Promote HUB programming through internal and external communications.
  • Other duties as Assigned 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in public health, community health, health care administration, social work, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience
  • Experience in community engagement, health promotion, or program coordination.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including academic, healthcare, and community partners.
  • Commitment to advancing health equity and addressing social determinants of health.

Additional Information
This position is classified as Exempt, grade J. Compensation for this grade ranges from $47,490 to $71,230 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
