Job Summary
The advisor position works to offer guidance and feedback to their advisee, a student from the Master of Science in Clinical Optometry program on their Culminating Scholarly Project. They are selected as a content expert on the topic that the student has chosen.
Essential Functions
- Attend regular meetings with their advisees
- Provide research assistance and feedback on work
- Attend and grade oral presentations
- Grade written papers
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate in Optometry
- Minimum of 1 year of experience.

Additional Information
This is a Part-Time temporary position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
