Job Summary

The Per-Diem will provide research support for ongoing federally funded studies focused on behavioral health and psychosocial interventions. Key responsibilities will center on qualitative data analysis and scholarly dissemination of study findings.

Essential Functions

  • Assisting with qualitative data analysis, including reviewing interview transcripts, refining and applying qualitative codebooks, and coding data using established qualitative analysis software
  • Contributing to analytic memo writing, synthesis of qualitative themes, and interpretation of findings in collaboration with the principal investigator and research team 
  • Supporting methodological rigor by participating in discussions related to coding reliability, reflexivity, and analytic decision-making.
  • Assisting with the preparation, drafting, and revision of manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals
  • Supporting data organization, version control, and secure handling of qualitative data in accordance with IRB, institutional, and federal requirements
  • Participating in research team meetings as needed to support analytic progress and manuscript development 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate in Dance/Movement Therapy or related field 
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience.
  • This position requires strong qualitative analytic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary research team.

Additional Information

This is a Part-Time Per diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
