Job Summary
Drexel Club Sports is seeking an Ultimate Coach to teach, coach, train and motivate student athletes on an individual and group basis. This position will work on-campus on an hourly basis. The Coach will help develop and support the Club Ultimate program and work with students of different levels of expertise.
Essential Functions
- Coach and teach the inter-workings of ultimate frisbee and how to play high-level competitive college ultimate to all club members.
- Create, organize, and conduct any and all team practice sessions the team will have.
- Advise individual students as requested.
- Ensure that the program complies with all University, Club Sport, Governing Body and Recreational Athletics rules and regulations.
- Help leadership create a team culture where everyone enjoys their time on and off the field, feels welcomed and included by the team, and allows everyone to grow, learn, and play regardless of skill level.
- Keep open and steady communication between all members of the team, especially team leaders.
- Work alongside all of the Drexel Club Sports administration to ensure the team is run effectively.
- Ensure that any and all team lifting and/or conditioning programs are safe for the players partaking in them.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- High School, Club, or Collegiate coaching experience.

- Lifting demands ≤ 50lbs

Additional Information
This is a Part-Time per diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
