Job Summary

To satisfy desktop IT needs at Center City locations. These locations include Drexel Medicine Clinics, Research Departments, Labs and Academic spaces. On the assigned day on-site, the resource will rotate through the clinics to ensure technology is working as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 level on-site technology support for administrative offices in high-level or sensitive positions
  • Utilize in-person or remote access for end-user computers, peripherals, new technologies, and configurations for Windows and Macintosh platforms 
  • Plan, advise, and coordinate equipment installations in the administration and / or academic offices supported 
  • Oversee inventory of software and equipment )
  • Maintain computer and system security 
  • Understand operation of computer networks and relationships among systems-
  • Identify user needs and independently research procedures for accomplishing tasks, addressing both immediate and long-term technology processes, and document findings 
  • Remain informed and practiced in operating system and hardware requirements and evaluate new technologies, and provide insight into such technologies as they become accepted for use
  • Coordinate closely with supervisor and communicate regularly with administrative staff regarding services and suggestions for implementing them

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree

Additional Information

This is a Part-Time per diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
