Job Summary

Reporting to the Associate Registrar for Academic Records, the Program Manager for Academic Records is the designated point of contact for questions and processing of all academic records for the Office of the University Registrar including but not limited to transcripts, enrollment/degree verifications, licensure forms, and student record updates.

This is a Hybrid position working in-person several times a week.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinates and processes all student record updates (e.g., change of curriculum and status, withdrawal, leave of absence and all other updates to the academic record).
  • Help develop business processes and solutions with respect to academic records to eliminate error and redundancies with all processes.
  • Oversees production and maintenance of student transcripts and student academic records.
  • Maintains the electronic filing functions of the Office of the University Registrar.
  • Manages the University Registrar operational email accounts.
  • Ensures data integrity in systems and scrutinizes business practices for academic records.
  • Provides total support for adherence to policies and procedures laid forth by FERPA.
  • Provides backup for Assistant Registrar for Academic Records and collaborates with the Sr. Associate Registrar and Associate Registrars.
  • Works closely with Drexel Central to answer questions related to grading, transcripts, and academic records.
  • Assists with training in all areas of academic records.
  • Provides customer service to all administrative areas related to academic records.
  • Follows the operations calendar for the Office of the University Registrar.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of HS Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 of year of experience working in a Registrar or Student Services Office.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Experience using report-generation tools, such as Office 365.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree.
  • Experience working in a customer service or front-facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience producing operational documentation.
  • Experience using Banner student system, operating in an academic role.
  • Familiarity with FERPA guidelines.

Additional Information
This position is classified as Exempt, grade J. Compensation for this grade ranges from $52,360 - $78,530 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position will vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
