Job Summary
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) https://drexel.edu/engineering/academics/departments/electrical-computer-engineering/ at Drexel University seeks applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant teaching professor. Primary consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in cyber-security, computer science, and computer engineering and other related interdisciplinary and cross-cutting areas.
We seek candidates who can develop and teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in on-campus, online, and hybrid modalities. Example course topics include cyber-physical systems, robotics, autonomous systems, hardware, internet, web-security, financial engineering, and other emerging areas. In addition, they will be encouraged to develop and teach laboratory courses and to advise students on senior design projects. The candidate will also contribute to department-wide curriculum development to maintain and improve the instructional program.

Essential Functions

Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field by the September 1, 2023 start date, with outstanding academic and/or industrial credentials.
- 2 years of experience
- Primary consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in cyber-security, computer science, and computer engineering and other related interdisciplinary and cross-cutting areas
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
