Job Summary

The Conduct Case Administrator works on an as-needed basis to provide support for the leadership of Student Conduct and also serve as a Conduct Case Administrator. The Conduct Case Administrator is responsible for the tracking and management of student conduct cases. The Conduct Case Administrator reports directly to the Director for Student Conduct. This position requires some night and weekend responsibilities.

Essential Functions

  • As a member of the Student Conduct team, support the assessment efforts related to student conduct.
  • Serve as a liaison with Conduct Case Administrators in Housing and Residence Life.
  • Schedule hearings and appeal boards as needed.
  • Track cases and sanctions for the department, including cases assigned to HRL staff members.
  • Conduct disciplinary background checks regarding students and student employees.
  • Serve as a Conduct Case Administrator for all levels of conduct cases.
  • Stay updated on best practices in the field of Student Conduct and make recommendations on changes to policy and practice.
  • Escalate reports and incidents as necessary if interim measures may be appropriate.
  • Work with the Office Institutional Equity and Inclusive Culture (EIC) on training, and adjudication of the policies in their purview.
  • Update key data reports and access data as requested.
  • Collaborate with other campus partners (Counseling Center, Athletics), on case management and student follow up.
  • Provide resources to students regarding sanctions, including both leaving and returning to the university as a result of a suspension or interim measures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Master’s in education or related field.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Proficiency with judicial software system(s).
  • Experience with Maxient.

Additional Information

This is a Part-time Per Diem position classified as Non-exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
