Job Summary

The Office for Institutional Equity and Inclusive Culture (EIC) is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual, with commitment to contributing to a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for all members of our community. This position is a maximum of 30 hours a week. Please note, this position is primarily remote with occasional in-person opportunities.

Essential Functions

  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks including preparation of interview transcripts, assist in the writing of investigation reports related to Civil Rights policies (Title VI, VII, and IX).
  • Support the management of the Office Inbox and triage requests.
  • Support investigative team and Title IX/EO Coordinator in scheduling meetings related to cases.
  • Provides logistical support for hearings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience with fact finding, investigations, employment law, criminal law, student conduct, or compliance responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to handle personal, confidential, sensitive, and complex information with composure, mature judgment and utmost discretion.
  • Must have the ability to work independently in planning and implementing responsibilities while also contributing to teams made up of diverse individuals and groups.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work products.
  • Must possess a high energy level, self-confidence, and a positive attitude.
