We are looking for motivated Research Scientist candidates with great communication skills, who are interested in computational damage/healing analysis to develop computational frameworks for: a) multiscale reduced-order fracture modeling of vascular cementitious composites, b) modeling of stress corrosion cracking in steel-reinforced concrete structures, and c) coupled/uncoupled damage-healing modeling of self-healing concretes.

The successful candidate will be part of a team, including researchers and scientists with experimental and numerical backgrounds from Drexel University.

Essential Functions

  • Computational damage/healing analysis to develop computational frameworks for: multiscale reduced-order fracture modeling of vascular cementitious composites, modeling of stress corrosion cracking in steel-reinforced concrete structures and coupled/uncoupled damage-healing modeling of self-healing concretes.
  • Working with experimental collaborators to Validate the models.
