Job Summary

The Admission Coordinator role is within the LeBow College of Business Graduate Enrollment Management team. The role reports to the Associate Director of Graduate Enrollment Management and will work closely with graduate academic advising and Center for Career Readiness. The role will serve as a first point-of-contact for graduate programs at the LeBow College of Business. The Admission Coordinator will be involved in the recruitment of perspective students, application management, and yield activities. All efforts are focused on building the applicant funnel, providing an efficient application process, relationship building with applicants, and ensuring a seamless transition. The role will collaborate effectively with LeBow staff and faculty along with main University offices including EMSS, the Graduate College, and ISSS.   

Essential Functions

  • Prospective Student Recruitment / Outreach:
    • Conduct on-campus and virtual recruitment activities.
    • Manage the LeBow graduate enrollment inbox and answer inquiries daily.
    • Present and deliver recruitment presentations.
    • Build & maintain understanding of graduate program portfolio and admission’s processes.
    • Weekly outreach to warm leads across graduate programs.
  • Applicant Pool Management:
    • Support students throughout the application process.
    • Collaborate with faculty on admission decisions and processing.
    • Process admission decisions.
    • Convert incomplete applications to complete.
  • Yield/Anti-Melt Activities:
    • Convert accepted students to confirmed students through relationship building, regular communication, and events.
    • Assist in transitioning confirmed students to orientation. 
  • Strategic Projects & Admin:
    • Post all enrollment events.
    • Orientation support. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience (Please review the Equivalency Chart for additional information). 
  • Minimum of 2 years or more in a higher education role. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft office. 
  • Excellent written/oral communication.
  • Professionalism.
  • Project management & problem solving.
  • Collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Public speaking & presenting/

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an enrollment or recruitment role. 
  • Skilled in Hyperion, Slate, Banner, AVT.
  • Presentation experience.

Additional Information
This position is classified as Exempt, grade H. Compensation for this grade ranges $35,790.00 - $53,680.00 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position will vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
