Job Summary

The Testing Coordinator position is a full-time, temporary, administrative position in the Office of Disability Resources (ODR) at Drexel University. The Testing Coordinator manages the operations of the testing center and supervises part-time graduate student proctors.

The position will be part of a professional team whose responsibility is to facilitate auxiliary aids, accommodations, and resources for students with disabilities at Drexel University, reporting to the Director & ADA Coordinator.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinates various aspects of the Testing Center, test registration and availability, and scheduling of exams based on data from the Clockwork database.
  • Provides excellent customer service to students and faculty.
  • Administers, proctors, and transmits results of all tests administered by the Testing Center.
  • Collects and maintains Testing Center data, including the number of exams proctored per term and location, number of students tested, number of tests given, and type of tests.
  • Trains, mentors, schedules, and oversees the work of other Testing Center staff, including hiring and supervising part-time student workers.
  • Possesses exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in higher education.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with academic partners.
  • Ability to problem solve and assist individual students, faculty, and staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to confidentiality of student information and records. 
  • Excellent data entry skills with experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel).

Additional Information

This is a Full-time Temporary position classified as Non-exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
