Job Summary
The job entails processing and characterizing a new class of materials discovered. We labelled hydroxide derived nanomaterials of these one dimensional titania where most of the research will be concentrated. The post-doc will make and characterize these materials, more specifically they will characterize the materials for catalytic and battery applications.
Essential Functions
- Carrying research in the lab.
- Writing papers.
- Mentoring students and writing proposals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate in Materials Engineering or Chemical Engineering or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. (Please review the Equivalency Chart for additional information.)

Additional Information
This position is classified as Exempt, grade K. Compensation for this grade ranges from $54,630.00 - $81,940.00 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
