Job Summary

Assist and support instructors, fabrication, measurement, impression taking, modification, and fitting of upper limb prosthetics in the clinical portion of Upper Limb Prosthetics course. This is a support role to the course coordinator. The support role assists in the safety of the students during fabrication and patient model evaluation and fittings. (in-person)

Essential Functions

  • Assist in Labs with Patient Models
  • Assist in modification and fabrication labs
  • Monitor patient models and students’ safety in labs
  • Support instructions, fabrication, measurement, impression taking, modification, and fitting of upper limb prosthetics in the clinical portion Monitor and record student participation on the Discussion Board.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 3-years of experience
  • Must be an ABC Prosthetist (CP) and/or Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO)
  • Experience in Upper Limb Prosthetics patient care

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Fabrication techniques
  • Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
