Job Summary
Teach graduate-level courses in the Public Policy program. Depending on need and scheduling, courses can be either in-person, online or employ a hybrid model.
Essential Functions
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to teaching methodology, curriculum development and evaluation.
- Evaluate student achievement of curricular objectives/outcomes.
- Schedule office hours per week for student availability.
- Schedule administrative time for course preparation.
- Maintain communication with the department head regarding any course or student issues.
- Develop lessons plans, readings and assignment in line with course objectives
- Teach course materials in the appropriate course modality
- Communicate effectively with students and provide feedback as needed
- Respond in a timely manner to student and university-related communications
- Perform other similar duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Terminal degree in a field relevant to public policy and/or extensive work experience and subject matter expertise.
