Job Summary
To administer all Drexel University Scholarships programs and serve as a liaison to all departments that provide scholarships to Drexel students.
This is a hybrid position working 3 days in person.
Essential Functions
- In conjunction with the Executive Director, maintain internal/external scholarship processing.
- Review, develop or modify policies and/or procedures to ensure appropriate packaging and disbursement of scholarships.
- Ensure the Policies and Procedures manual is up to date at all times.
- In conjunction with the Office of Institutional Advancement set yearly goals for scholarship awarding.
- Collaborate with all departments in order to award scholarships and provide financial aid regulatory guidance.
- Collaborate with AIS to ensure the automated processes in place with the BAM (Blackbaud Award Management System is operating as expected as it relates to the swapping process and other Drexel Grant aid.
- Serve as principal contact person with Blackbaud for maintaining the BAM process including managing the Cycle Management process with BAM staff.
- Conduct presentations as needed to assist IA team with the understanding of practices of the aid office as it relates to scholarship awarding.
- Maintain an understanding of the loan process to reduce federal or private loans to ensure that students are not over awarded.
- Post external scholarship and complete reconciliation process to ensure all external scholarship are accounted for in student aid packages.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.

- Minimum of 1 year of financial aid or related experience in higher education.
- Ability to work some evenings/weekends per year to support events.

Additional Information
This position is classified as Exempt, grade K. Compensation for this grade ranges from $54,630 - $81,940 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
