Job Summary
The Lead Physical Therapist at Drexel University’s Physical Therapy Clinic, located in the Drexel Athletic Center on the main campus, is responsible for providing evidence-informed outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy services. This temporary, part-time role (30 hours per week for 4 months) includes serving as a clinical instructor for Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students. The position emphasizes clinical excellence, mentorship, and collaboration in a dynamic university-based outpatient setting. Preference will be given to applicants with an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification.
Essential Functions

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience.
- Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license (Direct access) required.
Preferred Qualifications
- • Experience as a clinical instructor (CI) with DPT students strongly preferred.
• Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification preferred.
• Strong interest in outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
• Commitment to evidence-informed practice, mentorship, and collaborative care.

Additional Information
This is a Part-Time temporary position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
